LAUNCH SPECTRUM POLICY MANAGER
SpaceXs growing launch manifest has created an opportunity for a manager who can apply expertise and focus to advance policies for radiocommunications and spectrum related to SpaceXs launch business, including its Falcon, Dragon, and Starship flight vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with developing and advocating for spectrum policies that will further SpaceXs business objectives and success
- Draft pleadings, letters, and other advocacy pieces to promote SpaceXs policy positions
- Contribute to company launch spectrum policy and outreach activities with government officials at all levels
- Represent and promote the company positions before the FCC, the NTIA, NASA, and other Federal agencies, regulators, legislatures, and regional organizations
- Direct regulatory practice to secure necessary U.S. spectrum licenses, regulatory compliance, and customer support for SpaceX launch vehicles
- Develop and administer regulatory licensing application preparation, pursuit, and compliance requirements for system and service licensing
- Provide strategic regulatory advice and advocacy support to business development efforts
- Advocate to optimize prospective launch spectrum regulatory frameworks and policy environments in alignment with SpaceX business objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in the telecommunications, spectrum policy, vehicle design, or launch industries
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Understanding of spectrum use and policies
- Knowledge of radiofrequency spectrum technology
- Experience working with the Federal Communications Commission and other federal agencies
- Knowledge of key commercial and government players in the telecommunications industry
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
- Must be willing to work extended hours or/and weekends as needed

Pay range:
Launch Spectrum Policy Manager: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
