Job summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will provide security support in a wide range of security functional areas that include information security, physical security, personnel security, industrial security, communications security, and operations security. You will plan, implement and administer the Special Access Program (SAP)/Special Access Required (SAR) Security ensuring SAP/SAR security programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. You will serve as the lead or alternate lead Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) and provide advice and manage all aspects of SAP/SAR security programs needed to complete the organization's mission. You will provide support in the areas of program protection planning; personnel, industrial, physical and Information Systems (IS). You will prepare, review and evaluate program and security documentation to ensure adequate protection is provided in accordance with program requirements. You will operate as the team lead or as an effective team member within the Navy/DoD structure, and will be able to understand and apply ethical standards in relationships.

Qualification

DA-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Providing security support in functional areas that include Information Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Communications Security, and Operations Security; 2) Interpreting sponsors' unique classified technical needs and applying risk management and implementation of relevant security measures to ensure national security; 3) Providing support in the areas of program protection planning; personnel, industrial, physical and Information Systems; and 4) Utilizing knowledge/skill in the following areas: Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, Department of Defense Manuals (DoDM 5205.07 series), Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), National Industrial Security Program Manual Supplement (NISPOM, DoD 5220.22M). DA-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5-8) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) With guidance, providing security support in functional areas that include Information Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Communications Security, and Operations Security; 2) Applying risk management and implementation of relevant security measures to ensure national security; 3) With guidance, providing support in the areas of program protection planning; personnel, industrial, physical and Information Systems; and 4) Utilizing knowledge/skill in one or more of the following: Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, Department of Defense Manuals (DoDM 5205.07 series), Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), National Industrial Security Program Manual Supplement (NISPOM, DoD 5220.22M). DA-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-1-4) or pay band (DA-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) With guidance and oversight, providing security support in functional areas that include Information Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Communications Security, and Operations Security; 2) Assisting with applying risk management to ensure national security; and 3) Utilizing knowledge/skill in one or more of the following: Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, Department of Defense Manuals (DoDM 5205.07 series), Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), National Industrial Security Program Manual Supplement (NISPOM, DoD 5220.22M). Education
