Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
As a PCB SME, working for one of the top companies in the world, you will be part of an interdisciplinary engineering team in design, documentation, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of hardware.
In this role, you will work with IPC design and fabrication standards (e.g. IPC-222x series, IPC-601x series, IPC-4101, IPC-4103, IPC-4204, IPC-4552, IPC-4556) and you will be working with external PCB vendors.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering is desired.
• 9+ years professional experience; 7+ years with Masters degree.
• No clearance is needed in this position.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Demonstrated experience in PCB design, fabrication or assembly.
• Demonstrated experience working with external PCB vendors.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with flex, rigid flex, or RF PCBs manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IPC design and fabrication standards (e.g. IPC-222x series, IPC-601x series, IPC-4101, IPC-4103, IPC-4204, IPC-4552, IPC-4556)
• Expierence with IPC standards development
• Current or previous IPC-A-600 or IPC-6012 CIS certification
• Ability to review PCB Fabrication Drawings comply with IPC Standards, Geometric Tolerancing, and PCB Manufacturability.
• Experience in failure analysis (FA) results of x-ray, CT scan, or cross sectional analysis.
• Ability to communicate how and why a design meets specified requirements both in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
