Job summary

You will serve as a Supervisory General Supply Specialist in the Organic/Inter-service Repair Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Major duties

You will administration and execution of the NAVSUP WSS Organic/Inter-service component depot repair program. You will ensure the execution and delivery of component depot repairs to meet the on-time delivery requirements supplied by the IWSTs (Integrated Weapon Support Teams) to meet Fleet need. You will ensure that all governing policies, procedures, and performance metrics defined within the NAVSUP/COMFRC/DLA MOU are monitored and adhered to and ensures oversight, internally and externally, of new procedures and changes to repair programs. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Qualification

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector directing the oversight and execution of Aviation depot component real which includes complex administrative, technical and professional service for long-term planning and development of depot level maintenance strategies and policies affecting the entire Naval aviation community. Specialized experience includes: 1) Managing the execution and delivery of component depot repairs to meet the on-time delivery requirements supplied by the IWSTs (Integrated Weapon Support Teams) to meet Fleet needs; 2) Coordinating repair forecasting requirements, schedule executions, and optimizing organic depot repair requirements; 3) Experience with Organic or Depot Maintenance Inter-Service Agreements (DMISA) repair; 4) Managing financial resources, preparation and submission of budget inputs for repair requirements; 5) Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
