Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Join our Cyber System, Enterprise Security Solutions team as a Systems Engineer. Youll analyze requirements, design systems, and integrate and test networks and information systems. Step up and showcase your leadership in this dynamic field.
What Youll Experience:
- Hands-on systems engineering tasks like requirements analysis, system design, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and evaluate advanced network and information systems.
- Engage in system accreditation/certification to ensure technical security features function correctly.
- Research and analyze data to determine design feasibility using vendor products and specifications.
- Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Proficient in systems engineering concepts and principles.
- Experience in system accreditation/certification and technical security evaluations.
- Strong research and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification required (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security).
