Working with the best-of-the-best, the Information Systems Specialist will perform IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting company business processes and operations. Youll also analyze, install, acquire, modify and support operating systems, database or utilities software, as well as analyze, design, acquire and implement projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Well rely on you to plan, conduct and direct the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems along with planning, designing, acquiring and implementing telecommunications voice/wire systems.
With a focus Systems Administration, youll perform Red Hat LINUX, UNIX, or Windows OS command line administration along with Trusted Network Environment (TNE) Pitbull command level administration and command line troubleshooting of OS and associated hardware/software. Youll also create and resolve helpdesk action items; Install, move and or breaks-down systems; and perform system builds.
By focusing on System Networking, youll provide day-to-day communication/network security operation and maintenance of multiple secure network infrastructures by troubleshooting network architectures consisting of multilevel access and multilevel security platforms supporting both CONUS and OCONUS sites. Well rely on you to install and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, VoIP systems, video teleconferencing, and various other network and telecommunication components; Analyze and determine corrective action for secure data communications networks; and troubleshoot and/or install 10/100/1000 Base T and fiber optic wiring as needed in support of network systems.

What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent
- Limited hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX
- Developing understanding of routing protocols, TCP/IP protocols, security requirements and network communications
- Basic familiarity with applicable DISA, IC, and coalition security requirements documents such as STIGS
- Developing skills with CISCO Routers, Switches, WAN Protocols (EIGRP), QOS, LAN and Data Center Protocols (Spanning -Tree, Fabric-enabled technologies, VoIP to support Data, Voice and Video)
- Developing understanding of VTC systems to include Tandberg and Polycom

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range
USD $69,309.60 - USD $74,995.20 /Yr.
