Major duties

Review reimbursement documentation for returning and newly contracted scholarship cadets. Serve as alternate instructor when required. Review trend of required adjustments to determine if changes should be submitted to published to Department of Army (DA), command level guidelines.

GS-09 - To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Generating automated reimbursement reports for management analysis; reviewing financial documentation to verify accuracy; and processing payment of funds utilizing financial management systems for release to financial institution/battalion. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Concepts, Policies, and Principles of Finance Financial Management Analysis Financial Stewardship Fundamentals & Operations of Finance GS-07 - Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). GS-09 - Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position you may qualify if your education meets the definition below: GS-07 - 1 full year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement (Must provide Transcripts). GS-09 - Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related (Must provide Transcripts). FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. Evaluations
