Job summary

About the Position: This Operations Specialist is located at White Sands Missile Range Commanding General, G3 with duty location of White Sands Missile Range, Dona Ana New Mexico. (merit) This Term appointment NTE is also being announced under Job Opportunity Announcement SDSE245605591846.

Major duties

Responsible for processing Command tasking’s as subject-matter expert for tasking. Provide reclama to United States Army Test and Evaluation Command within seven days of tasking if Command is unable to satisfy the tasking. Serve as the G-3, Operations Specialist responsible for providing guidance. Serve as the primary Action Officer responsible for updating policies. Execute organizational administrative programs such as internal/external communications planning, suspense tracking, resource requirements analysis and review. Assist in the planning of joint services exercises involving individuals such as those within the command and its subordinate commands. Provide coordination for ceremonial events within the required timeline.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
