Job summary
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST in the Signatures Department (Code 70) IT Support Office of CARDEROCK DIV NS.
Major duties
You will perform as supervisor to manage Code 70711 IT Team and direct IT support efforts for Department 70. You will develop and implement the IT tools and processes that can improve department IT/IA business functions. You will process the Department 70 AandA (Accreditation and Authorization) and the RMF (Risk Management Framework) packages. You will serve as lead for managing departmental SharePoint site, network resources, and systems. You will identify software and hardware solutions for end-user requirements. You will provide end users tiered-level customer support. You will develop internal IT/IA procedures and recommend improvements. You will support application licenses purchases and usage tracking. You will provide guidance and support for department users/teams to follow Command’s cybersecurity policies and instructions.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: executing technical and administrative tasks for an IT department in the areas of IT/IA support, SharePoint management, tiered customer support, hardware/software installation and reporting. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
