Job summary
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Energetics System Division (E1), Land & Expeditionary Systems Branch (E15) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354). The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Major duties
You will support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) PM Infantry Weapons Anti-Armor Team. You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist supporting the USMC PM IW program office managing the Saber and Javelin systems. You will complete readiness assessments and provide logistics product support planning. You will prepare new builds, and modified parts and equipment. You will represent logistics at AAS systems engineering technical review (SETR) events - providing SME/knowledge in support of a Reliability Centered Maintenance analyses. You will plan and participate in PM reviews, audits and Joint Service (Army-USMC) Integrated Product Team (IPTs). You will be responsible for tracking, maintenance and proper disposal of all Government Furnished Property during development and production of AAS systems and kits, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating and evaluating integrated logistics support requirements to provide logistics, technical, and administrative guidance to United States Marine Corps (USMC) program support personnel and fleet operators for a wide range of Anti-Armor weapons systems.
