Job summary
You will serve as a Technical Project Manager (TPM) in the WARTIME READINESS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Pearl Harbor, HI. A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 21.17% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. Major duties
You will will support the NAVSEA Office of Warfighting Readiness planning efforts and lead various duties as a Technical Project Manager (TPM) located in Pearl Harbor, HI. You will develop solutions for expeditionary maintenance and repair capabilities as well as create opportunities to execute the NAVSEA Maritime Support Plan. You will work across the NAVSEA enterprise to prepare wartime concept of operation (CONOPS) and develop opportunities to test its executability. You will prepare and develop strategic communications, both written and oral, such as briefings, point papers, white papers, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions. You will ensure NAVSEA alignment to Fleet and Combatant Commander's goals and objectives for the area of responsibility. You will participate in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques. You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of technical waterfront operations and wartime execution planning in order to provide continuity as warfighting preparedness across the Department of Defense continues.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing oversight of technical waterfront operations and wartime execution planning, to include the development of solutions for expeditionary maintenance and repair capabilities, for a Wartime Readiness program.
