Job summary
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the System Engineering and Integration Branch (SPC41), of Conventional Prompt Strike - CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Major duties
You will develop, implement and oversees CPS certification processes and plans, and ensures compliance with relevant policies and regulations. You will lead Certification and Qualification Working Group which serves as a forum to have focused discussions on certification topic. You will establish planning and schedule milestones, such as incremental reviews of data, assessment of readiness to certify work in coordination with external stakeholders (IWS 9, PMS 500, PMS 450) on platform requirements. You will coordinate and tracks CPS certification artifacts and progression to certification. You will lead various IPTs, working groups, and review board meetings, to collect information in support of certification. You will coordinate with the Platform, Platform Combat System, Material certification, Training certification and Tactical qualification leads. You will represent SSP/SPC in assigned areas of responsibility when interfacing with field activities, fleet representatives, contractors, and consultants to resolve complex and/or controversial issues.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning and executing a comprehensive evaluation system (ex. proposed costs, program development, and performance) for missile/weapon system test programs and assembly operations to evaluate and develop innovative policies, methods and techniques for the long-range administration and operation of a combat system certification or qualification review program.
