Job summary
You will serve as a Lead Traffic Management Specialist in the Force Logistics (N41) Department of NAVEUR/NAVAF in Naples, Italy.
Major duties
You will serve as the Command Transportation Program Manager. You will direct, monitor, coordinate, expedite, and administer movement of NAVEUR/NAVAF supported passengers and cargo. You will oversee transportation functions at NAVEUR/NAVAF air and water terminals, personal property offices, and subordinate command transportation offices You will develop NAVEUR/NAVAF transportation policy, and prepare and review directives to implement said policy.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing commercial transportation, military airlift, sealift, and inland lift asset systems capabilities to develop plans to support program functions and requirements; 2) Providing guidance on transportation program requirements, capabilities, policies and procedures; 3) Monitoring transportation contracts and program oversight to analyze economic effectiveness; and 4) Administering and developing improvement measures in traffic management program operations. Education
No minimum education requirements.
