Job summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY RECREATION ASSISTANT in the Fitness Department of NAVSUPPACT NAPLES, Capodichino, Italy.

Major duties

You will plan and administer a facility which support a relatively large participating community with diverse recreation interests and needs. You will develop, organize, implement, and emphasize the types of programs and equipment to be offered insuring their desirability in terms of community interests and needs. You will plan and coordinate the details of recurring activities, special events and joint community undertakings so as to make maximum use of facility, programs and equipment. You will provide guidance and leadership for modifying, adapting, expanding or otherwise changing procedures and programs associated with the use of the facility.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and conducting fitness classes for a positive impact on overall health; 2) Promoting fitness programs and recreation activities to help motivate and attract participants; and 3) Providing equipment and facility instructions to reduce the risk of injury during exercise. Education
