Job summary

You will serve as a SECRETARY in the TACTITAL TRAINING GROUP, PACIFIC of TACTICAL TRAINING GROUP PACIFIC.

Major duties

You will evaluate, analyze and organize and coordinate administrative and clerical functions of the office. You will establish and maintain correspondence, reports and documents for the command. You will receive visitors and telephone calls, determine the nature of requests and direct to appropriate department. You will control and maintain the Commanding Officer’s calendar and schedule appointment and meetings. You will screen, proofread, format and track command correspondence. You will make travel and conference arrangements for senior staff. You will provide protocol functions and coordinate visits by congressional representatives and flag and general military officers and provide advice to ceremonial planning groups. You will serve as the command coordinator and includes duties such as Assistant Public Affairs Officer, Command Historian, Officer Fitness Report Coordinator, Assistant Civilian Position Management Coordinator, and Social Coordinator.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative and clerical support to management. Examples of experience may include: scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars; establishing and maintaining correspondence, documents, files and reports; responding to non-technical requests for information; coordinating visits by high ranking officials. Education
