Job summary

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. ARMY INTELLIGENCE & SECURITY COMMAND, U.S. ARMY OPERATIONS GROUP, FORT MEADE, MD.

Major duties

Analyzes requirements for manpower, current and projected, and determines validity by studying all workload data, organizational and mission programs. Develop Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) with supported units making necessary manpower and organizational changes. Provide guidance, assistance and oversight of organizational manning resources and forecasting future requirement. Serves as the principal technical advisor for AOG, responsible for managing all manpower and force structure actions involving the AOG and its subordinate units.

Specialized experience is defined as experience in at least 2 or more of these focus areas: 1) Managing manpower resources. 2) Allocation of organizational budget/funding. 3) Recommending solutions to policy issues/problems related to organization administration. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12).
