About the Position: This position is located at Rosslyn, Virginia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Advance in-hire (higher step request) may be Authorized. Major duties

Serves as a clinical informatics specialist and Solution Lead (SL) for the content and configuration across functional areas of the common federal Electronic Health Record (EHR). The Solution Lead (SL) manages and supports functional and technical components, as well as Information Technology (IT) sustainment of the common federal EHR for designated solution areas. Provides strategic support and consultation to leadership, federal partners, and any additional identified stakeholders. Leads and directs a myriad and cross-organizational activities associated with the participation in national level partnerships with federal and nonfederal pharmacy related entities. Serves as an advocate of knowledge management in promoting the use of Information Technology (IT) in clinical settings by supporting the planning, acquisition or development Assists in the execution of clinical support for Service member readiness processing and surges in demand for other clinical services.

Basic Requirement for Pharmacist (Informatics), NH-0660-4: Education: A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. Exemption: You are exempt from the basic requirement above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0660 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Note: You will be required to provide appropriate documentation to the respective Human Resources Office to validate your status. Licensure: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia. Medical Requirement: Must be able to distinguish basic colors. Experience: One year of professional pharmacy experience which includes developing methods or technologies for processing of health-related information. This definition of experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-3). **Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Active Career Field.
