Job summary
You will serve as a in the OFFICE MANAGER of ASSTSECNAV M-RA WASHINGTON DC.
Major duties
You will review requests for leaders’ time and determining which requests align with leadership’s priorities. You will schedule meetings, pre-briefs, obtaining and organizing background material, and preparing agendas, meeting materials, and briefing books. You will make arrangements for meetings including obtaining space, arranging for needed equipment, contacting key officials, and informing participants. You will manage requests for public speaking engagements, including ensuring legal and public affairs review and notification processes are followed. You will serve as an expert adviser/consultant concerning administrative policies, procedures, and processes. You may serve as payroll coordinator and timekeeping system administrator. You may serve as a liaison with the Human Resources Office (HRO) with recruitment actions and award processing.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, scheduling, and tracking the activities of higher-level officials. Experience providing administrative support to variety of functions (e.g., classified document control, office management, budget, security, division automation, requesting office supplies/equipment, etc.) to support higher level officials. Experience tactfully dealing with individuals at high levels of government, both civilian and military, and in the private sector.
