Job summary

Major duties
Reviews, analyzes, interprets, and evaluates proposed and actual policy, guidance, and procedural changes and determines the impact on current and future operations, existing and proposed guidelines, policies and procedures. Oversees and monitors implementation and functional testing of new and revised procedures for impact and effectiveness. Conducts functional process improvement reviews independently and as a senior specialist when team efforts are required. Develops and/or recommends study plans, objectives, and milestones; coordinates and monitors the overall plan to determine effectiveness of goal accomplishment and needed revisions. Coordinates with Agency and higher levels and others, as needed, when studies, problems, solutions, etc., extend beyond Directorate organization. Collects, analyzes, evaluates, consolidates and integrates a variety of data and reports; develops interim and final reports, as needed, to include findings, recommendations, and solutions. Collaborates with mission area users and information technology experts to manage the full lifecycle process for Robotics Process Automation projects.
Qualification
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized Experience Defined As: Experience performing extensive data analysis and evaluation of financial systems, policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure the continuity of a financial organization's business operations; compiling financial data from various sources and ensuring their accuracy as it pertains to financial legislation and operational policies and procedures; providing substantial financial management knowledge to leadership in order to assist with the organization's core mission: AND experience applying process automation tools and techniques such as Robotics Process Automation to business operations. Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service. You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Education is not substitutable for specialized experience at this grade level.
