Job summary
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Department of the Navy of FORWARD SHIP SUSTAINMENT NAPLES Naples, Italy.
Major duties
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will formulate budgets, and estimates to support plans, programs and activities. You will review and evaluate budget requests. You will develop, determine and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will execute modifications to systems, programs, and/or operations. You will establish criteria and other means to assess, investigate and analyze a variety of unusual problems and conditions. You will analyze financial processes and policies to identify key internal controls. You will identify problems and recommend solutions for projects related to financial management. You will review data to verify the accuracy of operational and financial performance metrics.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Financial Management Analyst. Specialized experience may include: 1) Advise or perform work in any phase or system of budget administration 2) Formulate budget and estimates to support programs 3) Recommend cost and benefits of alternative methods of organization's programs.
