Job summary
About the position: This position is Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the 35th Force Support Squadron Misawa Collocated Club. The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and assists the Club Manager in the economic and efficient operation of the club. This is a Flexible category position; guaranteed 0 hours per week but may work up to 40 hours a week (depending on the needs of the facility). Military Spouse Preference is not lost if selected for this position.
Major duties
Monitors operations of a club or assigned area, normally during absence of the manager and assistant manager, and normally at night or on weekends. Responsible for issue, receipt and control of cash boxes. Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift. Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensures they are carried out as planned by management. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that club rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift. May assist with end of month inventory. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to provide work direction to other club employees and knowledge of fire, safety, and health regulations. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able to communicate with customers and possess skills in dealing with the public. Conditions of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
