Job summary
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the MARTIME EW SYSTEMS DIVISION (WXM), SPECTRUM WARFARE DEPARTMENT NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Major duties
You will be responsible for the fielding, policy implementation and product support outcomes for New Construction Ship programs in all areas of integrated product support. You will create and provide input to models to analyze sparing solutions, supportability optimization, maintenance resource optimization, readiness-based sparing, detailed product structure, cost, and life cycle management. You will prepare briefings identifying risks and provide courses of action to the Program Office for mitigation of supportability problems. You will balance risks, conduct logistics investigations using models and integration tools as a decision aid, to propose possible engineering changes to the configuration and/or logistics management. You will be responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of product support.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating logistics strategy requirements to develop or adjust plans and schedules for improved efficiency and execution of radar restoration projects. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience for the GS-11 equivalency only: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related or A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
