EB Groton Shipyard
Overview
This 2nd Shift position is embedded in the logistics team supporting warehouse and buffer storage for all Submarine Programs including Virginia, Columbia and Maintenance & Modernization work. This role will be responsible for offsite warehouse locations that support the Groton Shipyard including locations in North Stonington, Norwich & Plainfield. The Supervisor of Logistics supervises up to 20 union represented hourly and salary employees.Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to satisfy multiple customers with competing priorities and maintain program schedules is essential
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to analyze, think critically, and determine practical solutions to compliance and technical issues
- MS Office Proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
