You will be the Engineer for our dynamic team. Our team is responsible for supporting the conceptual and detail design of advanced hardware through the full product life cycle, utilizing dynamics and structural analysis.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace program or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in a structural analysis role
- Proficient at performing both hand calculations as well as detailed assembly-level and component-level FEM analysis
Proficient with FEM structural analysis tools, including NASTRAN
- Experience performing both static and dynamic analysis
- Experience supporting structural testing, defining test objectives, instrumentation, writing test plans and reports and correlating analysis to test data
- Experience with metallic, elastomer and composite structures
Desired Skills:
- Professional, hands-on experience providing dynamics analysis support for DOD/USG programs.
- Experience analyzing static and dynamics analysis, including vibration, acoustic, modal and shock environments
- Experience supporting static and dynamic testing, including test definition, data collection and post-test model correlations
- Ability to work with little direction and develop advanced technical principles, techniques and concepts.
- Experience working launch and missile systems
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Mature computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
