Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Join our team as a Strategic Portfolio Project Support Specialist (Engr Support Spec) and contribute to the success of our projects by providing essential support in engineering and project management support. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion.
What youll experience:
- Dynamic Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly and weekly reports, including data analytics, total cost summaries, material reports, and travel triggers.
- EVMS Foundations: Learn and apply Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles including contracts, CLIN baselines, CEAC, SOW, WBS, and IMS.
- Facilitation: Set up and manage meetings, prepare review packages, present information, and follow up on action items and tasks.
- Project Kick-Off: Understand the phases of program start-up and the roles and responsibilities involved.
- Incentive Tracking: Collect and manage artifacts for incentives, ensuring timely submission and approval.
What you bring to the table:
- Entry-Level Experience: Basic exposure and training in project support and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) / CAM (Cost Account Management).
- Proactive Mindset: Ability to work independently, be proactive, improve processes, and take initiative.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like JIRA, PowerBI, IFS, Project, Visio/Drawio, and Windchill. Strong Excel experience is required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and assertively within teams.
- Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.
- Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail ensures accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range
USD $72,913.00 - USD $78,894.00 /Yr.
