The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Team:
The Senior Manager of Talent Systems will enable key talent and performance management systems across RTX’s business units (BU) and 185,000+ employees worldwide. The Senior Manager will be responsible for translating RTX’s comprehensive talent management strategy into our talent management system, Workday, recommending innovative technological solutions for a growing workforce.
This position reports directly to the Director, Talent Management and will work closely with RTX Digital Technology and Workforce Intelligence teams, as well as other talent management teams across our business units to achieve organizational objectives.
What You Will Do
- Drive the proposal, design, testing, execution, implementation, and reporting of advanced Workday end-to-end solutions in alignment with talent and performance management processes across the enterprise; serve as a Workday consultant for the Talent Management team and key counterparts across the Talent organization and HR function.
- Lead projects from end-to-end including project planning, benchmarking, stakeholder identification and analysis, communications, and timely deliverables.
- Provide project management, support and coordination for related talent management projects and initiatives, ensuring cooperation and alignment across Digital Technology, Workforce Intelligence, and BU/Corp talent organization.
- Leverage Workday management systems to assess workforce talent, performance and development gaps and prepare advanced, optimized solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Define and monitor key program performance metrics to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Synthesize information and analyze data for insights on effectiveness of management systems in facilitating global talent and organizational needs. Utilize data to recommend improvements.
- Lead partnerships with RTX HR and Talent COE teams to effectively link talent management systems to performance management and metrics to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Proactively collaborate with TD&L, BU and HR teams to communicate learning solutions to various audiences, including senior and executive leaders, within a highly matrixed organization.
- Research externally for latest talent technologies and present business cases for continued innovation to internal systems and processes.
- Travel up to 30%.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- Experience demonstrating proficiency with Workday functionality.
- Relevant experience in Human Resources, HRIS, Digital Technology, and/or Talent Management
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

- Experience in successfully designing, deploying, and managing large-scale talent management and development initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to aggregate and utilize data to influence decisions along with advanced project management skill sets with a continuous improvement and solution-oriented mindset.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations.
