Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a LSS Systems Engineering and Design Manager 2. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
As the Launch Support System Engineering and Design Manager you will lead an incredible team of Systems Engineers and Hardware Designers to architect and design the Launch Support System for the Sentinel Program. You will lead and provide technical direction for physical and functional architecture development, lead specification development and requirements decomposition, and oversight of hardware design to meet requirements. Directly manage LSS internal and external interfaces and be responsible for execution and reporting of assigned work packages within EVMS guidelines.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field and 6 years of experience
- At least 1-year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- 1 year of direct experience with DOORS and specification authoring with verification methodology
- 1 year of direct experience with MBSE concepts and methodology for both functional and physical architecture view points
- Knowledge of engineering release processes and CAD principals and practices
- Knowledge of EVMS principals and practices and direct experience with EMVS execution
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Direct experience with CAMEO as an MBSE tool
- Direct Experience with Teamcenter PLM and NX CAD
- Experience with Space Launch Operations
- Experience designing safety systems for flight test
- Experience in flight test for DoD programs
