The Opportunity:
Seeking a Program Financial Analyst who will be overseeing a complex Air Force contract valued at ~$5B in Revenue & growing. Responsible for all program level financial analysis and reporting. The EITaaS program will deliver capabilities and services in accordance to enable DAF’s prevalence over adversaries through the employment of cutting-edge data techniques, Technology and Infrastructure. Requirements may include: program cost control and management using cost baselines, revenue and profit recognition and forecasting, customer reporting and invoicing support, direct and indirect rate analysis, annual and multi-year planning, monthly forecasting, program compliance with FAR and GAAP regulations, program initial set up to include project codes with work breakdown structure and billing set up.
This is a remote opportunity for a local candidate with the ability to work from the Chantilly, VA 1-2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting Program Managers in the preparation and analysis of project financial and scheduling data and other complex contract, project or business-related task.
- Prepares project cost/schedule baselines, weekly preparation of management financial reports, preparation of monthly program review.
- Helps create and maintain the program resource plan. Interfaces with all functional levels of the program team to develop and status schedule requirements.
- Works to establish and control program budgets. Participates in managing cost and schedule performance through analysis of performance metrics and projections.
- Reports cost and schedule performance to the Program Office and Senior Management. Works on the analysis of budgeting and costs on the contract and associated reports and spending plans.
- Works to ensure compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations.
- Provides weekly and monthly transactional and pricing support to programs.
- Performs complex financial/administrative reporting for major contracts and/or programs.
- Monitors progress of program requirements. Maintains contract budgets, prepares contract billing, estimates materials, equipment, production costs and delivery schedules.
- May oversee facility administration and purchases of equipment and supplies as related to contract requirements.
- Provide Subcontractor reporting to include funding & expected expenditures to Subcontracts program management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in program finance using financial management software (SAP, ORACLE ERP, SmartView, COGNOS reporting, Costpoint).
- Must be well experienced working with big data sets with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot/reprioritize deadlines to ensure accurate and timely deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.
- Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to get a Secret Clearance.
Desired:
- An Active Secret Clearance.
- Experience supporting project financials for US Government DoD programs.
- Familiarity with the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARs (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
- Familiarity with DoD FMR (Financial Management Regulation).

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$60,100 - $123,300
