Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities for this Position

Position Overview:

PCB Design Specialist: This is a multi-role position, primarily focused on layout design for highly complex boards. During times when no layout tasks are required, you will work on schematic designs and/or hardware checkout in the lab. You will work closely with our engineering team to create innovative designs, ensure manufacturability, and deliver high-performance products on time. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with HDI layouts, blind and buried vias, and the ability to address complex electrical and layout challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

    • PCB Design and Layout:
      • Knowledge and experience with Siemens Xpedition VX2.11 and newer.
      • Design and layouthigh-density, multi-layer PCBsfor high-speed and mixed-signal applications.
      • ImplementHDI design techniques, including blind and buried vias, to optimize space and performance.
      • Collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet electrical, thermal, and mechanical requirements.
      • Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC analysis to validate PCB designs.
    • Hardware Development and Debugging:
      • Design and review schematics for complex electrical systems and subsystems.
      • Performhardware checkout, debugging, and validation of prototypes and final products in the lab.
      • Utilize test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, etc.) to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
      • Develop and execute test plans to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance of hardware designs.
    • Team Collaboration and Support:
      • Partner with cross-functional teams, including software and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware designs.
      • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
      • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve design methodologies.


Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $108,374.00 - USD $117,264.00 /Yr.
