We are currently seeking a Mixed Signal Test Engineer (Level 02 or 03) for tactical missile system development and production programs at Advanced Weapons located in Northridge, CA. No remote work as this is an on-site position.
This position can be filled at a (Level 02) or (Level 03). Basic qualifications for each level are listed below.
Basic Qualifications for Mixed Signal Test Engineer (Level 02):
BS degree in an engineering discipline; preferably in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering field with 2 years of experience or a MS with 0 years of experience.
Experience in mixed signal CCA’s (Circuit Card Assemblies) product design, development and system level integration.
Develops, coordinates and conducts power budget analysis, electrical system schematic, safety critical system and grounding scheme per provided requirements for existing and new development efforts.
Design of Digital circuits with large scale FPGA/SoC’s and high-speed interfaces.
Conduct verification and validation (V&V) testing as well as Conduct system-level testing.
Must have strong troubleshooting skills and ability to systematically work though de-bugging process while maintaining proper documentation.
Secret Clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years
Preferred Qualifications for Mixed Signal Test Engineer (Level 02):
Familiar with PWB (Printed Wiring Borad) design rules and techniques for CCA’s with >20 layers count from initial prototype to production. Knowledge of EDA tools package such as Mentor Graphics or equivalent.
Experience with MIL-STD compliant designs that meet reliability and maintainability requirements.
Ability to own and drive design reviews throughout development process. Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers in planning design and development of systems to ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility.
Develop detailed test plan for prototypes and assist in transition to production. Experience in setting up test benches and equipment as needed to perform validation testing.
