Operations Specialist

Position: Remote-Some travel may be required

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM Central Time

Description:

The Operations Team is the members' first point of contact and is responsible for customer service support to new and renewing members and working with FBO's interested in becoming part of the Network of providers. Operations Team members work collaboratively and take on individual tasks and responsibilities.

Individual Qualities:

  • Dependable, organized, excellent communication (telephone/writing) skills, good follow-through, flexible, honest, and team player
  • Good problem solver, self-motivated, positive attitude, confident, and committed
  • Computer skills proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook will be expected, and knowledge of Adobe/other PDF products
  • Aviation experience is a plus

Essential Functional Areas of Responsibility:

  • Process membership applications
  • Update membership account information
  • Respond to members inquiries via phone and email
  • Process transactions and refunds to members when necessary
  • Fuel Update
  • Fuel Price Audits
  • Run daily/weekly reports
  • Prepare FBO bids for vote vet, prepare questions, communicate with the FBOs, and make corrections as needed
  • Constantly proof the database, website, and other documentation, as requested
  • Troubleshoot membership app and website issues
  • Identify and share best practices
  • Take ownership of individual projects
  • Staff training
  • Effectively use Assignment Spreadsheets to complete monthly tasks
  • Build sincere relationships with members, FBOs, and partners

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma

Preferred-Some college education or equivalent work experience

Insurance benefits, educational reimbursement, and PTO (including sick time and vacation) accumulate at one day per full month and then 15 days per calendar year thereafter, nine holidays, and retirement contributions.
