As we scale our business in the dynamic world of business aviation, we would like to offer you the opportunity to join our high-performing organization as Head of HR Business Partner Switzerland based in Basel in the position of a director. This is a leadership role where you will guide our HRBP's in nationwide, shaping strategy and driving key initiatives while reporting directly to the VP Human Resources EMEA.
Your Role
- Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a talented team of four HR Business Partners in Switzerland. Coach and empower them to unlock their full potential as strategic partner to the business and excel in their roles, ensuring they are delivering top-notch HR support across all lines of business.
- Harmonizing HR Standards: Drive the harmonization of HR standards in Switzerland to create consistency and best practices across the different sites, aligning with local and global HR objectives.
- Strategic Business Partnership: Act as trusted advisor to the leadership team nationwide. Partner with them on a high level, to drive key business initiatives and translate organizational needs into HR solutions, while respecting the autonomy of the HRBP's. At the same time, support a group of customer accounts as an HRBP.
- Legal and Compliance Support: Provide guidance on Swiss labor law, handling legal matters with professionalism and ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- People-Centric Initiatives: Lead and support key business initiatives from a people perspective, ensuring that local HR strategies are aligned with business objectives.
Who You Are
- You possess strong business acumen and strong consulting skills, with the ability to align HR with business needs and drive results.
- You are results-driven and agile, leading teams through change and making informed decisions based on analytics in a fast-paced environment.
- You balance strategic vision with practical execution thanks to your hands-on mentality.
- You have a deep understanding of the Swiss labor law and speak German fluently, Swiss German is a plus
- You are a collaborative leader, capable of building strong teams, empowering others, and leading with authenticity and effective communication
