Boeing Commercial Airplanes Supply Chain is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager(Level K) to join our PSC (Propulsion South Carolina) team in North Charleston, SC.

You will be responsible for helping to develop and execute manufacturing operations & strategy, ensuring technical & customer requirements are achieved, and aligning authority and responsibility of support functions with all groups (Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, etc.).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, leads, coaches, develops and motivates employees

  • Promotes employee engagement and enhances company and team culture

  • Collaborates and works with various teams to execute to safety, quality, delivery, and cost commitments using the Boeing Production system

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing others

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

  • Willingness to work any shift based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate's degree or higher

  • Boeing Production System (BPS) (or relevant production system) knowledge/experience

  • Self-motivated, works well independently

  • Ability to create a cohesive and engaged team

  • Experience motivating and influencing others to act, innovate, and achieve goals

  • Aerospace related experience (MRO, 737 Max, and 787 Engine Build Up)

Shift:

This is a variable shift position, but targeting 2ndas primary shift need currently. Willingness to work any shift based on business needs required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $102,600 - $125,400
