This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI location.

The Quonset Point Facilities Department is seeking a Program Representative to provide direct oversight of facility vendors who repair, maintain, and make improvements to critical infrastructure and utilities. This position also provides response subject matter expertise to all emergent situations as required.

  • Candidates will work with Shift Supervision to plan and coordinate all vendor work.
  • Candidates will provide input toward the efforts of planning, budgeting, and prioritization of all work.
  • A high degree of knowledge and experience in all facets of vendor oversight and facility management is required.
  • A thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, building codes, etc. is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills will be necessary to interact with all levels of site leadership
  • Independent decision making is required.

The successful candidate must be self-motivating, be able to work independently, possess good written and oral communications skills, maintain a questioning attitude, as well as be proficient technically with a willingness to continuously learn.



Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical building systems is required (senior level)

Preferred / Desired Skills:

  • Any Professional Trade License (Electrical, Pipefitting, HVAC, Etc.)
  • Project Management or Facilities Management certification
  • OSHA 30 hour preferred
