Overview
Performs a broad range of testing assignments covering engineering development, production, and field repair | Possesses sound knowledge on electro-mechanical test setup, data acquisition, instrumentation, troubleshot, sensor technologies, programming, and test documentation | Able to independently conduct tests in the most safe, accurate, and efficient manner engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments | Responsibilities are within the Engineering Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Responsibilities
- Assists engineers and scientists as they create, modify, and test products and processes.
- Supports with technical tasks and project support.
- Sets up equipment and monitors tests and experiments.
- Inspects products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement.
- Observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports.
- Performs extensive research and development during creation phase of product.
- Utilizes computer-aided design and drafting equipment during design phase.
Qualifications
Required Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 3-5 years experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education &/ or experience
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise. Ability to understand and follow directions. Design expertise. Mathematical skills. Engineering Support. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software.
