Director and Senior Counsel, Supply Chain Contracts

What You Will Do

  • Lead negotiations with large, sophisticated, multi-national suppliers.
  • Deliver strategic legal advice and council to supply chain executive leadership.
  • Assess legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies, including in connection with strategic dispute resolution.
  • Lead a team of contracts professionals responsible for drafting and negotiating strategic sourcing agreements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense industry, complex market conditions, and global geopolitical landscape that impact the business of RTX and its supply chains.
  • Seasoned transactional lawyer with demonstrated ability to lead negotiations with large, sophisticated, multi-national suppliers, and draft complex contracts.
  • Prior experience leading an organization of professionals; setting and driving the strategic direction for that organization; and ensuring satisfaction of a broad customer base.
  • Ability to influence across many levels of an organization, including senior leadership levels within LCC, Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Executive presence and leadership.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and ensure follow-thorough on multiple projects simultaneously.

Location

  • Hybrid preferably from Connecticut; hybrid employees work both offsite and onsite regularly.

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
