As an Embedded Software Engineer within the Integrated Vehicle Health Management team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing aircraft safety and efficiency. You will be tasked with the design, development, and testing of embedded software solutions that are critical for the health management of aircraft systems.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Architecting, designing, and developing embedded software for IVHM products, ensuring adherence to GE's stringent processes and the DO-178C standard, which is crucial for aviation software safety and certification.
- Continuous Integration and Testing: Monitoring continuous software integration and testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying software failures and implementing effective solutions, thereby ensuring the robustness of IVHM solutions.
- Mentorship: Acting as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in embedded software development. Additionally, at least 1 year of experience in C coding is required.
