Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate (Level 2) or Experienced (Level 3) Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support the Heath Business Operations team in Heath, Ohio.

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in executing business plans, policies and procedures, performing data analytics and develop organizational and technical strategies. This role as an Associate or Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst will provide coordination and oversight of manufacturing operational issues and activities that affect production cycle time, quality, and efficiency. Gathers information concerning previously identified issue, coordinate with appropriate resource and track issues to resolution. Applies process management and process improvement techniques to support root cause and corrective action of repetitive issues. Utilize resources to document, communicate, and provide visibility of issue resolution. Facilitates work teams, provides necessary training, and supports problem resolution and process improvement. Analyze non-conformances data, investigate and provide value added solutions, conduct training sessions and promote best practices

Position Responsibilities (Associate – Level 2)

  • Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific operations
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides limited feedback on assessment results
  • Support the organization to implement strategies and plans
  • Works under general supervision
  • This role will focus on building a structured Lean approach for the site with a particular emphasis on 5S and value stream mapping activities
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans. Works under general direction

Position Responsibilities (Experienced – Level 3)

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides feedback on assessment results
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years’ experience interpreting, analyzing, and developing data for support requirements
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies, particularly Lean, with a strong understanding of 5S and value stream mapping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with issue tracking systems and process management tools
  • Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Project, SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, operations Management, or a related field

• Experience in chemical safety and compliance management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Associate – Level 2 $62,050 – $83,950 USD

Experienced– Level 3 $79,050 – $106,950 USD
