Armament Systems specializes in the development and production of medium and large-caliber ammunition as well as precision capabilities for direct and indirect fire systems. Leading the industry, this team successfully completes lifecycle support for medium caliber cannons, develops miniature, precision strike weapons for airborne platforms, creates survivability solutions for soldiers and the next generation tactical ammunition for a variety of combat platforms.
Description:
Inspection in an ESD controlled environment of populated circuit boards, components, sub-assemblies and assemblies to conform to inspection plans, checklists, drawings and other documentation requirements. Visual inspections under magnification using microscopes required. Limited dimensional inspections utilizing standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers and drop indicators may be required.
Responsibilities:
Perform inspection per inspection plans and other QMS documents.
Maintain inspection certifications.
Maintain lab practices/operations in compliance with processes & work instructions.
Issue and close non-conforming material reports per specified work instructions.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 4 years of inspection experience in circuit board and/or electronics environment
Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel and inspection databases/electronic records.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Basic math skills.
Mechanical ability, manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination required to perform visual inspections under microscopic conditions.
Good writing skills.
IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 or more years inspection experience in circuit board and/or electronics environment.
Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel and inspection databases/electronic records.
IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Specialist.
Experience using vision measurement systems.
Inspection or Electronic Technician certifications
